The McManus: Dundee's Art Gallery & Museum 6-8pm
The most fragile landscapes on earth are the subject of a new exhibition at The McManus: Dundee’s Art Gallery and Museum. Among the Polar Ice brings together two major series of artworks by leading Scottish artists Frances Walker and James Morrison.
Dundee’s history of Polar exploration is also highlighted with works by William Burn Murdoch, credited as Antarctica’s first artist in residence.
At a time when melting ice and rising sea levels are making world headlines, these spectacular paintings offer a visual record of the world’s most rapidly-changing environments and raise awareness of climate change. Admission FREE.
